Christina Opoku is of Danish and Ghanaian origin, therefore West African dance has been a part of her life since birth.

She has worked and trained as a professional dancer in Copenhagen, New York and now Geneva for the past 5 years.

Previously, Christina has worked with brands such as Adidas, L’Occitane and choreographed a for the fashion event Afrodyssée, in Geneva.

She recently had a contract with Yves Saint Laurent as a dancer/influencer.

Furthermore, she has been a part of various music videos such as Think “Wet dollers” as well as live television (MTV Namastay) and theatre productions.

She is currently teaching afro fusion and heels classes independently in Geneva. Though she’s trained in a variety of different dance styles, such as Hip Hop, House, Contemporary, Dancehall, Waacking etc.

Christina has been in the dance industry for more than fifteen years and is passionate about sharing her knowledge with her students.
